We’re so excited to invite our MAELS community to Dumpling Night on May 14 from 6–7PM.
Across cultures and continents, dumplings take many forms—wrapped in dough or leaves, filled with flavor, and rooted in tradition. This special evening is all about celebrating the food, cultures, and communities that bring our world together.
Families are invited to come enjoy, connect, and celebrate with us. Whether you’re trying something new or sharing something familiar, there’s a place for everyone at the table.
Want to be part of it? There are many ways to contribute:
• Bring a dumpling dish from your culture (homemade or store-bought are both welcome!)
• Volunteer your time during the event
• Donate supplies to help support the evening (napkins, forks, plates, bottled water, serving spoons)
• Or simply come as a guest and enjoy!
To RSVP or sign up to contribute, please visit this Google Form.
For families who are volunteering or contributing a dish, doors will open at 5:15PM for setup.
If you are contributing a dish or supplies, you may drop them off anytime on May 14. Please label all dishes with your child’s name and the name of the dish. If you’d like to share a recipe to go along with your dish, we’d love to include it—please send it to Dr. Ng by May 1st.
If you’ve signed up to volunteer, please keep an eye on your email for updates and next steps.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
If you have any questions, please email Dr. Ng at [email protected]
