The LGBTQ+ Student Alliance is open to all students who are members, as well as allies, of the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout the year, we engage in learning around the history and impact of the LGBTQ+ movement. This can look like lessons, access to books on the topic, trips to historic sites, opportunities to take self-defense workshops, and welcoming visitors from the Pride Center of Staten Island. Our club is a safe space that advocates for inclusivity and equity within MAELS.
